Tumblr, have I ever told you about my ridiculous collection of tights?
I work in a pretty business-casual office (think The Office) and they are my favourite way to spice up outfits - I generally wear block-coloured clothes because I’m not into many prints apart from spots and stripes. I also wear them every work day because I prefer skirts and dresses but have fat thighs and live to avoid the dreaded chub rub.
Anyway, I don’t see many fun tights around the city. This is helping me establish myself as Tights Queen…first of my office, now of my floor, next my building and after that…the city!
Nah actually probably by that point I will have moved to Melbourne.
Anyway. I’m gonna do a daily tights post to help inspire people and show them the ridiculous range available if you just go looking. If I can remember where I got them I’ll mention it, but a lot of them are just from high street stores.
Today - blue diamond dot. I can remember these because this is their maiden voyage, just removed from the package this morning even though I’ve had them a while. These are Platinum tights from Myer.
Best idea ever. Cute tights, cuter SHOES.
Alas, cute shoes are on their last legs (feet? idk, but I’ve worn holes through the heels thanks to walking around on pavement 2 hours a day, 5 days a week…and also walking with all the delicate grace of an elephant). The reign of the new work shoes begins Wednesday, when the weather cools down a bit.
